Understanding communities and the amenities they offer is important in moving to a new area. More often than not the inquiries I get are from people who want to find a house or land in the mountains but is still commutable to town. Woodland Park is a community that fits this criteria perfectly.
Not only is it a 20 minute drive from Colorado Springs but also offers the mountain living lifestyle and scenic beauty Colorado offers.
Woodland Park residents & community leaders are also very growth conscious and have had made several big decisions in the past five years. Two of these included a new hospital that serves the Woodland Park and Teller, Park, Douglas and Fremont Counties in the area. Looking back both were very good decisions and seem to continue to bring positive results to this community.
On April 6th voters who live within the City limits will receive a mail in ballot to vote on this initiative. For more information about the Woodland Park YMCA initiative check their website.
Woodland Park and Teller County offer a wide variety of real estate options. Homes in town, mountain homes on small acreage, mountain homes tucked on ranches, townhomes and condos. You can also find your piece of Colorado to build your dream home.
