Pay It Forward - Holiday Style

With Halloween week here it seems Thanksgiving & Christmas come snowballing in and through our lives at a faster and faster pace ever year.  Today seemed to be a day of gratitude and I thought I would post a small reminder of something simple yet very touching that each of us can do.

We may or may not send out holiday cards, write a letter about the year or our family to include in them and of course, pick the date that we want to accomplish this task.  Whenever you do send your card(s) this year, include an extra card and sen it to:

A Recovering American Soldier

c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center
6900 Georgia Avenue, NW
Washington , D.C. 20307-5001

Remember, our soldiers come in all faiths and beliefs! Therefore, send Christmas greetings, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, and seasonal greetings! The right person will get the right card!

Like putting money in the meter for parked cars here is an anonymous way that you can impact someone else's life.

A great thought. We usually clean out our closets of clothes we dont wear anymore and give them directly to the homeless with a card and a few dollars inside the pockets.
