365 Things to Do in Colorado Springs ~ Day 43 An Evening at the Golden Bee

The Golden Bee located in the lower level of the Internation Center (entrance is on the east side) at the Broadmoor Resort. The Golden Bee was originally an English Pub located in England.  In 1961 the Broadmoor purchased the Golden Bee and had it disassembled, moved from England to Colorado Springs and reassembled here where it has remained since.   The Golden Bee is a definite "to do" on your list of places to go and  things to do whether you are visiting Colorado Springs or a resident.  With beer served in yards, famous Cheese recipes and sing-along renditions for all, a good time is always available.

Resident pianist Bud Kruezer and others can be heard nightly at the Golden Bee starting at 8:30 p.m.  Be ready to participate as it is hard to not join in with song books available for any and all who want to join the fun!

With the Golden Bee just celebrating its 50th year there was a big birthday bash this year with a special ale for the event.  For more information and particulars check their website.

A great night of fun for the adults! Watch out for the flying bees. They stick to everything!
