Business Opportunity ~ Will You Be There For It

I keep a pulse on the market, as we all do, and have been watching the sales in the Colorado Springs and surrounding areas.  For the past year sales for homes $250,000 or less have been incredibly strong leaders.   Knowing this, I considered how can I best get involved with this market of the real estate.

Because my listings at the moment are not looking like the market trends that are selling I decided to start asking other Realtors that I know and respect if I can sit open houses for them.  They all responded incredibly well and some are even paying for advertising for the open houses I am sitting for them.  I think this is wonderful! 

It seems a win/win situation because the listing agents have a house that is being paid attention to by another agent and get to report to their sellers that an open house was held.  I get to be in front of potential customers and also continue to learn different areas of the market and especially small tucked areas/developments that can be overlooked.  Look for more from me regarding these areas in the future.

Just a thought on how to be proactive and work with others even if you don't have what you think a buyer is looking for.
