The Rocky Mountain Dinosaur Resource Center is located on the main drag of Woodland Park, offering hands-on exhibits, fun facts about dinosaurs, and even the chance to feel dino poop.

Colorado has been the home for many dinosaurs millions of years ago, and we continue to find new artifacts of their life here before us. Try your hand at a dino dig at the Learning Center!

Did you know there is a dinosaur called the Denversaurus? It’s a large armored dinosaur of the Nodosaur family, this is the most derived of its kind. It was part of the subtropical fauna of the deltas of the Western Interior Seaway during the late Cretaceous period. A very rare dinosaur, this cast is made from the most complete skeleton on record, which included over 100 preserved dermal plates and a virtually complete skull. Its primary antagonist was T.rex, from which its broad body and numerous armored plates offered significant protection.

Admission is $11.50 for adults, $7.50 for children 5-12, free for children 4 and under.
