Get ready to take to the skies with the Royal Gorge regions newest outdoor adventure! Colorado Zip Line Tours at the Royal Gorge! The company has 9 zip lines, spanning over a mile of exhilarating adventure with over a half-mile of beautiful, informative and scenic hikes. Royal Gorge Zip-line Tours will guide you along a thrilling and exhilarating 3 hour adventure that races across the Royal Gorge plateau where you will have classic Colorado views of the adjacent 14,000 foot peaks of the Sangre De Christo mountain range. Along the tour you will be able to take advantage of easy paced interpretive hiking trails where your guides will teach you about the areas local history and terrain. One of the trails takes you along Colorado’s historic Stage Coach road, a place where the settlers long ago forged their way through Colorado’s untamed and Wild Western landscape. Each group consists of 8 people and departs every half hour. Participants need to weigh between 90 and 250 pounds, and be able to hike a half-mile of varied terrains. The exhilarating trip is considered a half-day trip, lasting approximately 3 hours. If you want to make it a full day at the Gorge, white water rafting trips can be included into your total package of adventure for a day!
