365 Things to Do in Colorado Springs ~ Day 53 - Wine Tasting

If these outdoor adventure sports sound way too taxing or sweat-breaking for you, drive on up to the Wines of Colorado off of Hwy 24 west of Manitou Springs, and let your tastebuds have the adventures with taste testing and sampling Colorado Wines.  Whether you are a wine drinker or not there is something for everyone.  In the Summer & Fall, sitting outside on their patio or deck overlooking the stream is considered by many to be "a best kept secret".  You would never know that the road to Pikes Peak is just up the road.

Things to do in Colorado Springs, Wine Tasting

At the Wines of Colorado you will find several wines made right here in Colorado. Pair your favorite with a delicious cheese plate or for those with more of an appetite, one of their burgers or full meals. If the weather is nice enough, sit outside on the expansive back patio on one of the three levels near the creek.

There's something wonderful about relaxings, slowing down, sipping on a great wine and listening to nature babble at you.
