Three local camps here in Colorado Springs have Nature Camps for kids in July. Bear Creek Nature Camp Explorers program offers children, ages 4-5 with an adult the chance to meet nature, puppet shows, hiking and arts & crafts on has its Ladybugs on July 7th (with Leaping Lizzards on August 18th). Classes are held at the Bear Creek Nature Center and are $4 per person. For information or reservations call 520-6387.
Fountain Creek is an affiliate of Bear Creek and also runs nature camps for various age groups and topics in the summer months. For the current update click here.
Cheyenne Canon Camp runs from July 18th - 21st for 8 - 13 year olds. Cost is $165. For information and reservations
