Every now and again I find myself celebrating because a small business not only is "making it" but thriving. The most recent example was yesterday's trip into my neighborhood bike shop ~ Bicycle Experience. Walking in, with bike in tow, for the annual tune up & tire check, it was full of people & activity.
Picking up my bike an hour I remembered driving by this corner five years ago and seeing the bike sign first go up. Wow, a bike shop on the Southwest side of town. That is great. Today they are not only busy but have expanded and have the shop full of bikes, accessories, tools and training.
Note from Bicycle Experience: remember to lock your bike & keep it where you can see it. In downtown Colorado Springs, bike parts have been taken off of locked bikes.
Bicycle Experience is located at 1601 South Tejon (two blocks south of I-25). With incredible service, a wealth of knowledge and a genuine desire to help it is no wonder they are busy & successful.
A local small business that is the American Dream come true & thriving in an economy that would seem to indicate otherwise. Love it and congratulations Jon & Bicycle Experience!
