Today I came home from an open house followed by an 80th birthday party. Both were great and friends came by the open house which is always fun because I get to catch up while working.
Catching up on emails, phone calls and to do's is my usual routine. Today I opened my email to find that we received our crew assignment & instructions for the Colorado Balloon Classic. This year a good friend who pilots a balloon is coming out from Kentucky for the Colorado Springs Annual Balloon Classic. He asked if we would crew for him and now it is official.
The Colorado Springs Balloon Classic is a great event that is held Labor Day weekend every year. This is the 35th year and there are over 100 balloons expected. With a weekend of entertainment there is plenty to see and do whether it be seeing the balloons go up together or coming in for an evening of balloon glow. Activities happen throughout the day so check the schedule for specifics you don't want to miss.
Mark your calendars for September 3rd, 4th & 5th to head down to Memorial Park.
