Just about all of us have or know of someone who has a pet, someone with fur who often rules the house and those in it as well. What do you do when someone you know loses a pet. About 10 years ago I discovered a terrific way to tell people I know "I don't know how you feel" but I do care as you grieve the death of your pet. Today I received an email from a friend who had received a notice from Best Friends Animal Sanctuary as a result of the donation made in her dogs name. She said, "people aren't the only ones who have to go thru grieving--I think the "siblings" do too. Thank you once again for your thoughtful kindness--it lives on!!"
