When filmmakers Jen and Grant discover just how much food is wasted in America every year, they make a decision to quite purchasing groceries and live only off what is thrown out. The Rocky Mountain Women's Film Institute illustrates, "Just Eat It looks at our systemic obsession with expiry dates, perfect produce and portion sizes, and reveals the core of this seemingly insignificant issue that is having devastating consequences around the globe". This documentary is one of those films that is hard to watch and captivating at the same time.
