Colorado Springs Home w/Mother in Law Unit

As we continue to move into 2019 the Colorado Springs real estate market is still seeing low inventory and the Spring and Summer home buying market not quite here yet.  One area that is of interest is a house with a mother in law apartment or an accessory dwelling unit (ADU).  More buyers are looking for this type of home but there are not as many out there as you would think based on the increasing demand.

There is a great Southwest Colorado Springs home currently for sale with a tucked mother-in-law apartment off the back that you would not even know is there if you did a drive by.  Both main house & guest apartment offer gorgeous views and private setting.

The City of Colorado Springs is hosting three information meetings about expanding the rules & regulations for ADU's starting this week in the Southeast, North & Central/West areas of town  All meeting times and formats are identical. Open house: 5:30 – 7 p.m. with a short presentation at 6 p.m.
